10–40.5 kV Prefabricated Cabin Substation
Container-class substation fully built, wired and tested in the factory and shipped as one cabin — 40-year anti-corrosion shell, 3-hour fire-rated walls, refrigerator-grade insulation, smart fire-alarm and access control.
- Underframe welded from section steel; integral welded framework in quality carbon structural steel, yield stre
- Frame, door panels, roof and base plates all 2 mm quality steel
- Sand-blasting, hot zinc spraying and premium outdoor polyurethane finish keep the shell rust-free for 40 years
A cleaner, more reliable approach to MV switching
The HP-ELS series replaces SF₆ with environmentally friendly insulating media while keeping the proven safety and performance utilities expect from gas-insulated switchgear.
Product Overview
The prefabricated cabin is a type of box-type substation, roughly equivalent in volume to civil-built substations and standard dock containers. Applied in photovoltaic and wind-power industries, it inherits the prefabricated-installation advantages of conventional box substations; its modular framework and equipment assembly meet the special needs of PV generation and power management, with clear cost and O&M advantages over civil-built substations — an ideal choice for today’s PV industry.
Standardization & Integration
The complete system comprises the cabin body, primary-equipment cabinets, secondary control panels and in-cabin auxiliary systems — all produced, assembled, wired and commissioned in the factory and shipped as one integral unit. Our company integrates the cabin with its primary and secondary equipment for full factory prefabrication, cutting on-site secondary wiring and the design, construction and commissioning workload and shortening the schedule. Its standardized design, modular assembly and industrialized production align with State Grid’s smart-substation construction.
